Renovation and vertical expansion of adjoining 4- and 7-story historic, circa-1900 buildings located in the West End of Dallas. The existing complex included load-bearing brick masonry structures, heavy timber framing, cast-in-place concrete slabs, and structural steel, all of which have now been enlarged with additional floors and broad rooftop terraces.  The original basement now serves as a parking garage.  The new 8th floor includes a conference center.  The iconic roof-top water tank structures have been restored as well.
